About us
little sleepy head is led by Sam Oakley and Stephen Martin,
helped by chief tester George and many others, big and small, who have
lent a hand or an ear to our project.

Sam Oakley
Sam trained as a radio and television producer
before becoming a presenter. Her specialist field is consumer
journalism and her credits include Watchdog, Healthcheck, World in
Action and Countryfile.
Sam is currently making television programmes
for Discovery Networks and the History Channel. She is the mother of
chief tester George and his elder sister Harriet.

Stephen Martin
Stephen worked as a radio producer and sound engineer before
building a career as an award-winning marketing and promotions
specialist. He currently works in global media.
Stephen and his wife live near Petersfield, Hampshire with their
three year old daughter Hannah.

George Benjamin Green
As our chief tester, George brings to our project an entire
lifetime's experience of sleeping, waking up and sleeping again. His
favourite little sleepy head CD track is the tumble dryer.
