The Daily Mirror has compiled a special feature on sleep and has chosen our CD as one of its featured products.

Our website now contains samples of the four long soothing sounds you’ll find on the little sleepy head CD.

These are the sounds our test panel of NCT mums determined were the most effective at getting their babies to sleep and protecting them from being woken.

And now you can hear them before you order your CD on the home page of this site.

The CD was developed with help from a midwife from Guernsey’s main hospital and we remain eternally grateful to her and the local NCT members for helping us to help so many thousands of babies across the UK and beyond.

Summer nights

August is usually a relatively quiet time for us at little sleepy headquarters, but not this year.

For reasons we don’t quite understand, this August is proving to be incredibly busy and our little fingers have been rattling through order after order, packing, posting and verifying addresses.

Sometimes we see an address we don’t recognise. Like Hawarden in Flintshire for example. Where on earth is that? we asked ourselves.

Turns out it’s in North East Wales and if Google Earth is anything to go by, it’s a beautiful corner of the British Isles.

So thanks to you for keeping us busy. In return we’ll do what we can to make your summer nights as peaceful as possible whether you’re in Flintshire, Farnborough, Fareham or Ecclefechan… and we’ll leave you to find out where that is!

Cats

One of the popular pages on our website shows dozens and dozens of beautiful babies sleeping in various cute poses.

Now one of our lovely customers has sent us this site which does the same for cats.

We’re not going to waste any of our CDs on the cats though. In our experience, they seldom have any trouble getting off to sleep!
